BMW Group Ireland delivered a strong 2025 sales performance with 5,868 vehicle registrations establishing its position as Ireland’s leading premium automotive brand, writes Trish Whelan.

Continued momentum in electric sales with 1,153 all-electric BMW and MINI vehicles registered last year, representing over 19% of total volume. Leadership in the luxury class was driven by strong growth for the i7, M5 alongside sustained demand for the BMW XM. The brand registered 801 fully electric models in 2025 with year-on-year growth in key electric models including the iX1 and iX2.

MINI registrations increased to 725 units, with almost 50% fully electric.
