Mayo GAA has confirmed the dates and times of its senior, intermediate, junior and junior ‘B’ football championship finals.
It comes after a weekend in which Davitts secured the one remaining place in the intermediate championship final while the semi-finals in both the junior ‘A’ and ‘B’ competitions were also played.
The Connacht Gold Mayo SFC Final between Castlebar Mitchels and Garrymore will go ahead on Sunday, October 25 at 3.30pm in Hastings Insurance McHale Park, Castlebar. It will be preceded at 1pm by the Treanlaur Catering junior ‘A’ final between Ardagh and Eastern Gaels, who saw off Shrule/Glencorrib and Killala respectively in this weekend’s last four ties.
The Egan Jewellers Mayo IFC Final will see South Mayo rivals Davitts and Ballinrobe lock horns on Saturday, October 24 at 4pm, also in Castlebar. Davitts got the better of Islandeady on Saturday in the one outstanding semi-final tie. Serving as the curtain-raiser to the intermediate final at 1.30pm will be the junior ‘B’ final between Ballycastle and Swinford, who this weekend came through semi-final games against Moygownagh and Bonniconlon.
