All-new Toyota Aygo X is now in showrooms

Smaller, lighter, and more playful than Toyota’s larger hybrids, the Aygo X Hybrid is built for everyday driving.

Toyota, Ireland’s best-selling car brand, has announced that the all-new Toyota Aygo X Hybrid is in dealerships now, making it the first full hybrid in the A-segment on the market.

Designed and built in Europe, the Aygo X Hybrid introduces Toyota’s trusted full-hybrid technology to its most compact crossover, delivering a stylish, efficient, and affordable entry point into electrified motoring.

Smaller, lighter, and more playful than Toyota’s larger hybrids, the Aygo X Hybrid is built for everyday driving. Its compact footprint, elevated driving position and agile performance make light work of busy streets, tight parking, and daily errands, while retaining the confident stance of a crossover. Beyond city driving, its raised ride height helps tackle uneven rural roads, and a tight 4.7-metre turning radius makes sharp country bends and U-turns easy, delivering the best of both urban and rural driving.

To mark its arrival, the Aygo X Hybrid is available from €24,195.

Commenting on the Aygo X Hybrid’s arrival, Zoë Bradley, Head of Marketing Communications and Corporate Affairs at Toyota Ireland, said:

“The arrival of the Aygo X Hybrid marks an important milestone for Toyota Ireland, completing our transition to a fully electrified range of passenger cars line-up and introducing full hybrid technology to the A-segment for the first time. Designed with modern Irish drivers in mind, it offers a compact, stylish, and affordable option without compromising on technology or sustainability.

"With its crossover design, low CO₂ emissions, and the reassurance of Toyota’s proven hybrid expertise, the Aygo X Hybrid is the ideal first car or first hybrid, and a significant step forward in our electrification journey. Its vibrant palette of standout colours adds even more personality, giving customers the freedom to choose a look that truly reflects their style."
