It's all about the journey for Hurricane Highway frontman

Ed Holland is the lead singer with Hurricane Highway.
Ed Holland, frontman of Hurricane Highway, once shared with this reporter his philosophy on success: the journey is just as important as the destination.
Speaking to him again years later, Ed remains steadfast in his views.
"It's all about the journey," Ed began. "So many people focus on the next milestone, but I've seen friends with millions of streams and they're still not happy. I believe you should appreciate every little achievement and enjoy the process."
Hurricane Highway has achieved impressive success, including two top 50 singles in the US country charts, 10 US Grammy contenders, and two US tours and supporting notable acts like Miranda Lambert, Charlie Pride and Maddie & Tae. Having gained significant traction on Spotify with millions of streams, they recently released their new original single,
.The single is a laid-back, tropical anthem about escaping everyday stress. With a catchy chorus and beachy vibe, it's the perfect tune for unwinding.
Ed's songwriting process involves regular sessions with Nashville-based publishers and co-writers like Kevin Rowe (Chicago) and Nancy Mozer (Kentucky). Their collaboration has yielded US top 50 hits like
and . The band has also recently teamed up with multi-hit songwriter Brent Baxter, known for his hits with Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, and Randy Travis. Ed says he's excited to see how this new collaboration goes!Hurricane Highway's music blends American country, and they frequently visit Nashville where they recorded their No 1 album titled
. Despite their success, Ed doesn't see the band moving to the US anytime soon."I like the balance," Ed said. "We've proven we can have a successful career travelling between Ireland and the US. Ireland will always be my home, and I enjoy the freedom to visit America whenever I can."
Looking ahead, Hurricane Highway plans to focus on singles, with another release scheduled for September.
"That's the next destination!" Ed chuckled.
