The recent RNLI golf classic was a great success at Carne Golf Links. If you are wondering who the winners are….its everybody that made the day possible. Ballyglass RNLI were on site from early morning hearing stories from visitors about the fun that was had; the quality of accommodation and the breath taking spectacle that is Carne Golf Links. People travelled from all over to play with teams from rescue services all over the country, locals, and visitors. They are truly honoured by the generosity, the encouragement and kindness from everyone and they got a great Erris welcome from Gerry, Fiona and the team at Carne.
Ballyglass RNLI extend thanks to their own volunteers who helped to make it all happen and a big thank you to the sponsors who have donated so generously. Everyone they met coming through after the first 9 holes have all complimented the sponsorship and commented on it. They were very impressed when they were told them it’s all local. Any first timers in Carne and Erris have said they will be back.
