Easkey GAA remembers the late Micheal Connolly

Easkey GAA were saddened when they learned of the passing of their dear friend and colleague Micheal Connolly. Micheal was a former player and much loved underage coach and for the past nine years, one of their dedicated club groundsmen. His passion for the club, pride in the community and commitment left a lasting impact both on and off the pitch. It was always a pleasure to work with Micheal, who brought warmth, good humour, and positivity to every role he held.

‘Micheal’s quiet dedication to the day-to-day running of the club was hugely appreciated. His presence will be sorely missed, and his absence will be felt deeply within the club. Yet that sense of loss is felt most profoundly by his family – to his wife Susan, sons Nathan and Stephen, his brothers, sisters and wider family, we offer our deepest sympathies. We hope you can take some comfort in knowing how deeply respected and appreciated Micheal was, and the lasting legacy he leaves behind in the club and community he loved’, said a spokesperson for Easkey GAA.
