There will be a Hoe Down Barn Dance in Cawley's of Rakestreet on Friday, February 7, with music by Robert Padden. Doors open at 9.30pm and admission is €10 with proceeds to Crossmolina Soccer Club Pitch redevelopment.
There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club lotto jackpot on Saturday night, January 18, in The Thatch Bar. The numbers drawn were 24, 31, 32 and 33. There was no match three numbers and three tickets were drawn; John Maughan, Castlebar; Fiona Hopkins, Ballina; and Patrick Lindsay, Abbeyview, Crossmolina. They each won €50.
The numbers drawn in the lotto held on Saturday, January 25, in Hineys, were 1, 7, 27 and 33. No punter matched three numbers and three tickets were drawn; Mark Ormsby, Fotish, Crossmolina; Sarah Corcoran, Mullenmore, Crossmolina; and Peter Hegarty, Lecarrow, Crossmolina, and each won €50. The draw for the Crossmolina singed jersey also took place and it was won by Michael and Mary Lynn Keenagh. The jackpot in the latest draw which was held on February 1, was €8,550.
On this Sunday evening, February 9, Mick Traves will provide the music from 7 to 9pm. Refreshments will be served. Admission is €10.

Congratulations to Crossmolina Intermediate team and management on creating history by being the first club to win the All-Ireland. The club won the senior title in 2001 and now the Intermediate. What achievement and thanks to all the people who gave the team such great support during the campaign in so many ways.

The centre in Knockmore is a hive of activity. The week commences on Monday evenings with MNPT activity at 8pm; Tuesdays Fit and Fun classes at 5pm followed at 7pm by Rag to Rug' a creative way to recycle your used wear. Commencing at 7.30pm also on Tuesday evening is a Strength and Bone Class: on Wednesday’s the Parent and Toddler Group meet up and the MNPT class is at 8pm: Thursday has Yoga classes at 6.45pm, knit/crochet classes at 7pm, and jiving class at 8pm and Fridays at 7pm there is the Move to Music class.

There was one winner of the €17000 jackpot on January 25 last.
