A woman arrested in connection with a search and arrest operation in Rathkeale, Co Limerick, has been released without charge.

Around €400,000 across multiple bank accounts and in cash was seized during the operation, alongside goods including designer bags, watches, and objects believed to be rhinoceros horns.

The horns are subject to examination by experts, gardaí said.

A file will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí from the Limerick County Community Engagement Functional Area, supported by members from the Limerick Crime Functional Area, Regional and National Units, conducted the search and arrest operation in Rathkeale on Tuesday.

A total of 11 locations were searched under warrant as part of ongoing investigations into incidents of money laundering in the region.

Two men were arrested on foot of court orders and appeared before Newcastle West District Court on Tuesday.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
