Woman (20s) dies in single-vehicle crash in Dublin

A woman, aged in her 20s, has died following a single-vehicle crash in Dublin in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Shortly before 12.30am, gardaí and emergency services responded to a single-vehicle collision in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15, between the Snugborough Road and Cappagh Road roundabouts.
The sole occupant of the car, a woman in her 20s, was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The scene is currently preserved for examination by Garda forensic collision investigators. The road remains closed, with local traffic diversions in place. The Coroner has been notified and a postmortem examination will be arranged.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. In addition they are also seeking any road users who may have camera footage, including dashcam footage, from the area at the time.
