Belcarra Fun Run to take place this weekend
Last year's run attracted over one hundred participants, and this is always a firm favourite in the runner's calendar in Mayo.
Belcarra Community is once again holding its annual 8k run, which welcomes walkers, joggers, and runners of all abilities to the lovely village of Belcarra for what will be another great event.
Last year's run attracted over one hundred participants, and this is always a firm favourite in the runner's calendar in Mayo. This year, the main run is at 12pm. Participants can register online (link on Belcarra Ireland socials) or in person, in Belcarra Community Centre, from 9:30am on Sunday 28th June. Kids Run will take place at 11am, with students of Belcarra NS raising funds for the school.
Tickets are €15 for over 16s, and €25 for a family. As usual, you can expect a warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, and a good cup of tea, a sandwich, and something sweet for afterwards.
Bring the family, or bring a friend, for what is sure to be a lovely event, with all proceeds raised going towards the upgrade of the path and lighting around the Belcarra village community park.
