Music lovers are in for a rare and electrifying evening as two celebrated virtuosos, Enda Scahill (banjo) and Joel Anderson (harmonica), bring their remarkable talents to the Westport Town Hall Theatre this Saturday, September 20th, at 8pm, for the launch of their album, The Dark Well.

Enda Scahill, a native of Galway, is no stranger to Irish music audiences. A four-time All-Ireland champion, founding member of the internationally acclaimed group We Banjo 3, and winner of the 2022 Steve Martin prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass. Scahill has been hailed as one of the finest banjo players of his generation. His innovative blend of Irish traditional music with bluegrass and Americana has earned him global recognition and a devoted following.

Joining him on stage is the sensational Joel Anderson, whose mastery of the harmonica has been turning heads across Europe and North America. Known for his soulful tone, lightning-fast runs, and deep musical sensitivity, Anderson’s performances have been described as “jaw-dropping” and “utterly captivating”.

This one-night-only concert promises a thrilling musical conversation between banjo and harmonica - two instruments not often seen together, but in the hands of these maestros, a perfect match.
