Mayo school captures All-Ireland crown

They will be lighting the bonfires in south Mayo this evening because Ballinrobe Community School are the LGFA All Ireland Lidl PPS Senior C Champions.
The school's girls team triumphed against St Anne's of Tipperary in the final in Glenmaddy this afternoon, winning by 2-9 to 0-4.
Kate Brennan's goal helped the Mayo side to half-time lead of 1-4 to 0-3 and this gave them a platform towards victory come the final whistle.
Maura Hughes found the net in the second half as Ballinrobe remained dominant throughout.
