The first round of the Mayo Club Championship came to a close this evening. It has been a round that has brought draws and surprise results galore.

Cricket: It was a bright and blustery Bank Holiday Monday as Ballina welcomed Ballyhaunis 1st XI for the latest round of the Connacht Cricket Union First Division league at the Ballina Oval. The visitors won the toss and elected to bat first.
