Kiltimagh Knock United have withdrawn from Mayo soccer's top tier, the Elverys Sports Super League.

The news was confirmed by the Mayo Soccer League committee.

The club, positioned second last on the league table, were scheduled to be playing table-toppers Castlebar Celtic away from home tonight.

Their manager, Alan Gough, stepped away from his role earlier this season, before John Tarpey took over the mantle.

Kiltimagh Knock United's 'B' team also pulled out of Mayo's League One division earlier this year.
