Mayo well represented in Underdogs-Galway United clash

Six players from Mayo featured in last Saturday evening’s TG4 Underdogs series finale.
The focus of the Underdogs this year was on women’s soccer and three Mayo clubs were represented on the Underdogs panel which faced Galway United at Eamonn Deacy Park.
The three players who made the cut for the game from the Mayo Women’s Football League were Leah McHugh of Conn Rangers, Mary-Kate Tyrell of Castlebar Town and Jess Nolan of Manulla.
Galway United emerged victorious on a scoreline of 1-0 in an entertaining game. Three players from county Mayo featured on their team – Róise Burke, Annie Gough and Emma Duffy.
