Mayo teams taking part in popular 5-a-side soccer tournament in the West this weekend

The 2025 Salthill National 5-a-side returns to Salthill Park on May 31st and June 1st, 2025. 

This year's event promises even more excitement, with a men’s tournament (minimum of 3 games per team), an U13 boys' tournament, and an U13 girls' tournament.

Ballina Town have a side taking part in the U13 boys category, while Castlebar Celtic have a team entered in the U13 girls tournament.

The event will have additional outdoor fitness classes to keep everyone engaged throughout the weekend. The event will also feature even more live music to enhance the lively atmosphere.

Attendees can join in on outdoor gym and yoga classes, sample the best of Galway’s culinary scene at our food village, and enjoy a packed lineup of live music performances.

There will also be free skills coaching for over 100 underage boys and girls.
