Mayo players selected for interpros duty

A host of Mayo club footballers have been selected on the Connacht FA squad that will take part in next week’s FAI Amateur Interprovincial Tournament.
The six-game event is being hosted at various locations across Co Donegal.
Connacht will get their campaign underway next Friday, March 20 at 7pm when they play Leinster at Dry Arch Park, the home of Bonagee United. They play again at 1pm the following afternoon, Saturday, where Munster will provide the opposition in a game that takes place in Inishowen at Aileach FC.
Connacht will conclude their campaign on Sunday, March 22 when taking on Ulster at 11am in Letterkenny’s Leckview Park.
Featuring in the Connacht squad are Castlebar Celtic’s Mark Cunningham, Johnnie Cocozza, Luke Kelly and goalkeeper Stefan Hester, while their former teammate, Cathal Coyne, now of Salthill Devon is also selected.
Cillian Whyte and Dylan O’Malley of Westport United also make the 20-man panel, as does Jamie Cawley of Ballina Town.
