“In his role as coaching director, Joe has overseen the continued growth of our Pre-Academy program and has been a fantastic support to all coaches within the club. He is working tirelessly to ensure that every team benefits from a consistent philosophy and clear player pathway, creating an environment where both players and coaches can thrive.
“Joe’s ability to combine technical expertise with a genuine passion for developing young people makes him an integral part of Mayo FC’s journey.
“We are excited to see Joe continue his outstanding work and look forward to another successful season with him at the heart of our coaching team.”
Murray added: “I am looking forward to continuing to work with this talented, energetic and exciting group of young players as their head coach again for 2026.
“We will continue to build and progress the program as the players grow a year older. As the 2025 season reaches the final few weeks we will review & reflect to look to improve and progress everything we possibly can to further help their development.
“The players are always looking to improve so as a group of coaches and a club we look forward to helping them as much as we can going forward into next season and beyond”
