League accolade for Keating
Mayo's Ruairi Keating has been named in the League of Ireland Team of the Season despite a rotten time for Cork City.
Soccer: Mayo man Ruairí Keating has been selected in the League of Ireland team of the season for 2023.
The Westport native is named alongside the best in the country after a superb season for Cork City that saw him score thirteen goals in his side’s first season back in the top flight.
While it was a good campaign for Keating personally, his Cork team nonetheless ended up relegated after they were beaten in last Friday night’s relegation/promotion play-off with Waterford United.
Keating is already being linked with a move to Derry City.
