Ireland West Airport Knock welcomed a Republic of Ireland and Manchester United legend through their departure gates this morning.
Denis Irwin, a former Red Devils and Leeds United full-back, travelled through the convenient west of Ireland airport after he attended the Manchester United supporters club (Sligo Branch) 40th anniversary celebrations last night.
The Cork native, who earned over 50 caps for the Boys in Green, claimed seven English top-flight titles and one Champions League during his time at Old Trafford.
Irwin was pictured with Pearse Concannon, Chief Fire and Security Officer at the airport, before travelling on Knock airport's Ryanair service to Liverpool today.
