Two Mayo Ladies players secure All-Star nominations 

Mayo have had two footballers nominated for the TG4 ladies' football All-Stars.

Aoife Staunton and Sinéad Walsh, who play club football for Westport and MacHale Rovers respectively, are vying for spots on the half-forward line in the All-Star team following the 2026 Championship season in which Mayo reached the quarter-finals.

They face competition in these spots from of Orlagh Nolan (Dublin), Olivia Divilly (Galway), Kate Slevin (Galway), Kate Thompson (Galway), Niamh Carmody (Kerry), Niamh Ní Chonchúir (Kerry) and Kellyann Hogan (Waterford).

Neighbours Galway lead the way with 14 nominations after winning the All-Ireland title.

The 2026 TG4 All-Star team will be announced at a gala banquet at The Bonnington Dublin Hotel on Saturday, November 14. The 2026 TG4 Junior, Intermediate and Senior Players’ Player of the Year Award winners will also be revealed on the night, while the 2026 inductee into the LGFA Hall of Fame will be acknowledged.
