The event, at the GAA’s National Games Development Centre in Abbotstown, Dublin, will see 11 teams compete for the top prize.
In addition, 17 teams have signed up to take part in a recreational blitz, where no matter what the level, experience or ability, teams will play lots of football, socialise with each other and have fun.
The teams competing in the competitive section of the LGFA Interfirms blitz will battle it out for the Cup and Shield titles on offer.
Abbvie in Mayo will be competing for the top prize, while Mayo University Hospital will take part in the recreational blitz.
Ladies Gaelic Football Association President, Trina Murray, commented: “It’s always a joy to see teams travel from every corner of the country for the LGFA Interfirms 7s blitz day.
“Some come chasing silverware, others come purely for the love of the game, and there’s a place for everyone here. That’s what makes this day so special.
“Interfirms is about the friendships formed on the pitch and the pride of pulling on a jersey alongside your colleagues.
“Participation, teamwork and enjoyment are at the heart of everything our Association stands for, and this blitz captures that perfectly.
"My thanks to every player and team for your continued passion and support. Bainigí taitneamh as an lá, agus go n-éirí libh!”
