Mayo supporters will watch on with anticipation this afternoon as the remaining 2026 All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals take place in Croke Park. Depending on the outcomes, a draw for the semi-final pairings could be held live on RTÉ following the Dublin v Galway game. The first of the day’s last eight matches sees Louth take on Monaghan, with 80,000 expected to pack Croke Park for both games.
The draw will feature the four quarter-final winners and will be subject to the avoidance of repeat pairings from the championship.
Mayo have reached their first All-Ireland semi-final since 2021 following Saturday’s 0-23 to 0-18 win against Croke at GAA headquarters. They cannot be drawn against Monaghan on account of the sides having already met in the opening round of the All-Ireland championship while if Louth overcame the Farney County today, they would be unable to play Dublin in the semi-finals, should the Dubs cause an upset and beat Galway today.
The semi-final fixtures will be played on the weekend of July 11-12 in Croke Park.
