Claremorris seek passionate coaches for underage camogie teams

Claremorris Camogie chairperson Rebecca Fahy has said the club is in dire need of additional coaches for its underage teams.
Claremorris Camogie Club is making an appeal for new coaching talent to join their ranks, with a particular focus on their U16 and U14 teams. The club has a proud tradition in underage camogie but is struggling to recruit coaches for these sides in particular and does not want to risk not being able to field at these grades.
Claremorris Camogie find themselves at a crucial juncture where the need for enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and committed coaches has never been more critical. The U16 and U14 teams are at the very heart of this structure, serving as vital stepping stones in the athletic and personal development journeys of their young players. They are continuing to develop at the club, recently adding a minor team to their ranks.
The club is appealing to individuals within the community and beyond who have a passion for camogie, a dedication to youth development, and a desire to make a significant impact on the lives of young athletes, to consider coming on board for this season.
Chairperson of Claremorris Camogie Club Rebecca Fahy said: “We’ve been making huge strides within the club to continue to develop and expand, including the addition of a minor team this year. However, with any expansion comes the need for additional volunteers and we are now in dire need of coaches at U14 and U16 levels.” She continued: “We would appeal to anyone who can help us out to contact us, so that we can continue to provide camogie at these ages levels.” Interested candidates should email their expression of interest to Rebecca Fahy on special.dayz@yahoo.com. The deadline for receipt of applications is Tuesday, April 16.
