The 2025 Mayo Rose, Clara Gardiner, has just taken to the Tralee stage on Monday night's airing of Rose of Tralee 2025.

Clara, a native of Kilfian in North Mayo, spoke about Ballina, her son, Noah, and her late sister, Jemma, while chatting with Dáithí Ó Sé on stage.

Clara also played the guitar and sang 'Song for Ireland', while adding in 'Green and Red of Mayo' during her performance.

There was a very positive reaction to Clara's stage time, with one person saying, "You can keep Sam, it's clearly Mayo for the #roseoftralee."

While another social media user added that the "Mayo rose has a lovely voice."

Following Clara, Shauna Sammon, also from Mayo, represented London during tonight's live airing.

The 2025 Rose of Tralee is currently live on RTÉ One, while night two will air tomorrow night.
