Works on new Mayo filling station nearing completion
Works on the new filling station and shop are nearing completion.
There is positive news for Ballina with works on a new filling station and shop almost completed.
The Moloney family, who operate Super Valu in the town, are soon to open a new Centra filling station on the Sligo Road.
Formerly Judge’s garage, the new petrol station will be a welcome addition for households and motorists in the area.
The development will also provide an employment boost to the area with a significant recruitment drive undertaken and a number of roles to be fulfilled in the coming weeks ahead of the store's eagerly-awaited opening.
The move represents a major investment in Ballina's retail sector with residents from over the border in Co Sligo also set to benefit from the new outlet.
The new store will be fully filled out internally this week and a Maxol forecourt and canopy will also be upgraded and completed.
“It has been great to work with such top-class local companies and tradesman and to keep all this work local in our town,” stated Moloney’s as work continues.
