When the Mayo weather warning will expire

A Status Yellow rainfall warning is currently in place for Mayo.

The weather warning will be valid until 6pm today (Thursday, August 28).

Met Éireann has stated that there will be significant rainfall accumulations from heavy showers and longer spells of rain. Isolated thunderstorms are also possible.

Potential impacts include localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.

Clare, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim and Sligo are also included in the Met Éireann weather warning.
