Volunteers are needed in a variety of roles to assist with the upcoming Mayo.ie Western People Women’s Mini Marathon.
Events like the Mayo.ie Western People Women’s Mini Marathon simply would not be possible without the support of volunteers from within the community, and the Ballina community is rarely found wanting.
Dozens of volunteers contributed to the 2023 Women's Mini Marathon and 200 volunteers signed up for the Ballina 2023 volunteer programme to assist with US President Joe Biden’s visit to Ballina on April 14, 2023.
Volunteering is a rewarding way of contributing to an event and the organisers of the Mayo.ie Western People Women’s Mini Marathon are seeking volunteers to fill the following roles: Race steward, security steward, enter tainment – musicians and fac e painters, marshals, water station personnel, administration, litter control, physiotherapy, health and safety, and photography.
