Two homes have been evacuated due to significant levels of flooding at Lough Funshinagh in County Roscommon.
A post on the Lough Funshinagh Flood Crisis Facebook page earlier today stated that a mother and a very young baby was forced to leave and evacuate their home yesterday evening.
Meanwhile, two local roads were closed earlier today with another regional road set to close tomorrow morning due to flooding.
Roscommon County Council said after flooding extended to an area near Curraghboy they will be forced to close the R362 road at Coolnageer from Satrday morning at 8am.
The local authority stated diversions and a full closure will be in force from 11am, while the road is expected to remain closed for up to three months according to RTÉ.
