Sligo students qualify for Junk Kouture final
T.Y. students of 2023/24, Kate Hannon and Caoimhe Hughes from Jesus and Mary Secondary School, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo are Junk Kouture National finalists on October 2nd.
They were chosen from the regional finals to go on to the Final of Junk Kouture, Ireland's leading sustainable fashion competition.
Their outfit entitled "Mother Demented" is created entirely from fuel-related materials such as coal bags, net wood bags, and briquette wrapping.
Their aim was to highlight the damage which these fuels are doing to the Earth.
