Road closures in Mayo town to facilitate works

Temporary road closures will be in place next month to facilitate works on an Active Travel and Safety Measure Scheme. The works are part of the N60 project between Breaffy and Castlebar.

It is proposed to close roads from Kilkenny Cross Roundabout to the R373 Moneen Road and the R308 Galway Road.

The temporary closures will be in place from Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10.

A diversion route along the R373 Moneen Road, R308 and the L1727 Sir Ernst Chain Road will be established.

Local access to properties within the closure area will be provided.

Any objections or observations regarding this proposal should be lodged in writing, for consideration to Mayo County Council, Castlebar Area Office, Áras an Chontae, Castlebar, by 4pm on Wednesday, June 24.
