Prominent town car park to close for nearly two weeks

Mayo County Council have advised motorists that a Castlebar car park will be closed for almost two weeks to facilitate an event.

Pavilion Road car park will be closed for a period from 6pm tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1, until 8am on Tuesday, May 14.

This is in order to facilitate a family funfair that is coinciding with the Races of Castlebar Festival.

The Council have advised that permit holders can park at the following car parks during this period: Spencer Street, Castle Street, Market Square, Bridge Street.
