One of Ballina’s best-loved venues, Paddy Mac’s, has officially been named a finalist in the 2025 Bar of the Year Awards, securing a place in the highly competitive People’s Choice Award – Best Bar in Connacht/Ulster category.
This year’s awards attracted a record-breaking 1,000 plus entries from across the country. Following months of rigorous assessment and intense deliberation, only the finest bars have made it through as finalists – placing Paddy Mac’s firmly among Ireland’s top-tier hospitality venues.
Organisers of the Bar of the Year Awards described this year’s competition as the most competitive to date, stating:
