The 3 Arena, Dublin.

Unbeaten Mayo boxing prospect, Eoghan Lavin, returns to the ring this Saturday, March 14, as part of Queenberry’s ’St Patrick’s Day Weekend’ fight card at the 3Arena.

The 23-year-old super welterweight boxer, who is signed to Frank Warren’s promotion, will be taking on fellow Irishman and unbeaten prospect Liam Walsh (9-0) in a step-up clash. Lavin’s last outing was in October, where he stopped his opponent in the 1st round.

Lavin says:

"This fight is a massive one for me and my career, and I can’t wait to get in there. Fighting in the 3Arena in a huge domestic clash on what could be Ireland’s biggest professional boxing show of all time — live on DAZN — is exactly what you dream about as a fighter.

"These are the kind of stages I always believed I’d reach when I turned professional. It’s a huge opportunity to showcase myself on the world stage once again.

"A big win on Saturday night would bring me another step closer to a massive homecoming fight in Mayo, which is something I’m determined to make happen.

"I’m also hugely grateful for all the support, especially from the companies that sponsor me and help make this journey possible."
