Mayo lotto player scoops over €1 million prize

Mayo has been revealed as the county where a EuroMillions player won a life-changing €1,005,000 in last Friday night’s EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle Special Draw.

The ongoing ‘4 More Lottery Millionaires’ promotion places winners of the usual €5,000 prize into an additional special draw. Friday’s draw saw the Mayo player have €1 million added to their initial prize of €5,000. This marks the third of four special draws this month.

“This is an exciting time for EuroMillions players, especially with our ongoing promotion creating millionaires across the country,” Communications Executive in the National Lottery Sarah Ruane commented. 

“We’re thrilled to reveal Co. Mayo as the latest home of a new millionaire, and we look forward to making another guaranteed millionaire in the Lotto Plus Raffle draw next Saturday, September 28.”

 EuroMillions players in Mayo are being urged by The National Lottery to check their online tickets very carefully.
