Mayo finalist for prestigious Student of the Year award

Adrian Gaynard, Kilcommon, Hollymount, Claremorris, Co. Mayo was a finalist in the Teagasc/ FBD Student of the Year Awards 2024, which took place on Thursday, 22 May in Dublin. Adrian is pictured receiving his certificate from Emer O’Byrne, FBD; Liam Herlihy, Teagasc Chairman; and Dr Anne Marie Butler, Head of Education in Teagasc. The awards, sponsored by FBD, were presented to the top graduates of Teagasc Level 6 agriculture, horticulture, equine and forestry training programmes in 2024.
Kate Curran, Kilmagemogue, Portlaw, County Waterford, was the overall winner of the Teagasc / FBD Student of the Year 2024 award. The Awards were presented by the Teagasc Chairman, Liam Herlihy, in Dublin last week, Thursday 22 May.
The awards, sponsored by FBD, were presented to the top graduates of Teagasc Level 6 agriculture, horticulture, equine and forestry training programmes in 2024.
There was one finalist from Mayo - Adrian Gaynard, Kilcommon, Hollymount, Claremorris, Co. Mayo.
