Mayo business raises vital funds for defibrillator through clever idea

A Mayo business has raided vital funds to purchase a defibrillator thanks to a very clever idea.

Since the start of July, Gilligans Bar in Claremorris decided to do something good for their local community through the re-turn scheme. 

The business saved up cans and bottles every week before taking their haul to the local Supervalu. 

They saved enough money to buy the defibrillator for outside the pub which can be used for medical attention and potentially save someone's life.
