Man whose body was discovered in Mayo has been named locally
The man who was discovered deceased at a property in Westport, Co. Mayo on Monday morning has been named locally.
The man who was discovered deceased at a property in Westport, Co. Mayo on Monday morning has been named locally.
Alan Carter, aged in 30s, was found unresponsive as Gardaí were alerted to the discovery of a body of a man at approximately 6am yesterday.
The body was removed to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar where a post-mortem took place.
Gardaí say foul play is not suspected.
Mr. Carter will repose at his home in Rathcluain, Kiltimagh on Thursday, 29th August, from 3pm until 7pm.
Funeral Mass will take place in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Swinford on Friday, 30th August, at 12 noon prior to burial in Kilconduff Cemetery, Swinford.
