Man hospitalised after alleged assault in north Mayo village
A man in his 50s was hospitalised after an alleged assault in a north Mayo village last weekend.
A spokesperson for the Garda Press Office said gardaí are investigating a report of an assault in Ballycastle on Sunday, May 12, at approximately 3pm.
“A man (50s) was taken to Mayo University Hospital for non-life threatening injuries,” it said.
“No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing."
