Man (50s) dies following fatal workplace accident in Mayo

Gardaí in Westport, along with emergency services, responded to a fatal workplace accident at a residence at Carrowholly, Westport on 13th May 2025. 

The local Coroner and the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) have been notified. 

The deceased, an adult male in his 50s, is set to undergo a postmortem examination. 

Following the results, a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
