Local player strikes Lotto gold
It's the second win in the region in the space of 24 hours.
It was a terrific night for one player in Co. Sligo after they matched five numbers and the bonus in Saturday night’s Lotto draw, scooping an amazing prize worth €171,729. The Sligo player purchased their Quick Pick ticket on Friday from Checkout, Main Street, Enniscrone.
The winning numbers were 5, 21, 22, 39, 40, 43 and the Bonus was 12.
While there was no winner of the Lotto jackpot worth €5,603,789.
“What a fantastic win for a player in the beautiful seaside town of Enniscrone!” said Darragh O’Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson.
“We’re now urging all of our players in Sligo to check their Lotto tickets very carefully – you could be holding a winning ticket!”
It comes after an Irish EuroMillions player from Co. Mayo matched five numbers in Friday night’s EuroMillions draw, scooping a dazzling prize worth €19,706.
The player purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw from Spar, Castlerea Road, Ballyhaunis.
