The airport confirmed that the Aer Lingus flight (EI916) to London Heathrow Airport, which was scheduled to depart from Knock at 1.05pm today, was cancelled last night.
A spokesperson for the airport added, "As it stands, currently all other flights are operating as normal, and if there is any change or impact, Ryanair will contact passengers directly."
A Status Orange Wind warning for Mayo will be valid from 2pm today until 10pm.
