Happy retirement: Mayo care worker congratulated on 30 years of service

Congratulations and happy retirement to Ann Padden who has called time on 30 years of service working as an Area Supervisor with RHS Home Care. Her colleagues held a function in the Western Strands Hotel in Belmullet on Saturday evening, July 27, to mark the occasion.

Ann has been working with RHS since 2004, initially as a carer and later as a supervisor and she greatly enjoyed meeting service users and carers throughout the many years of working in the service. 

Many changes have been experienced over the years, as the service developed into the professional support company it is today. Ann enjoyed supporting all the care workers she managed - problem solving, being a listening ear to those who needed it and gaining knowledge and understanding as she went along.
