Garda in Mayo parish retires after 42 years of dedicated service

A garda in Mayo has retired after 42 years of service.
Garda Thomas Fleming signed the diary in Partry Garda station for the last time last week.
An Garda Síochána said: "Tom was admired by his colleagues and was an integral part of the community in Partry and Tourmakeady and will be missed by many. Thank you Tom for your friendship and service to us all and we wish you a happy and fulfilling retirement."
