Gardaí seize two vehicles in Mayo

Mayo Roads Policing, using ANPR and Active Mobility technology, detected two uninsured vehicles in East Mayo recently.

One of the drivers had no valid driving licence, while the other vehicle had invalid tax that had expired over four years.

Both vehicles were stopped and seized, and court proceedings will follow.

An Garda Síochána Mayo stated that insurance and a valid licence are legal requirements for everyone's safety on the road.
