Gardaí investigating assault incident in Mayo town

Gardaí received a report of an incident of assault that occurred on Barrack Street in Belmullet, Co. Mayo at approximately 11:40pm on Saturday, the 17th of August 2024.

One man aged in his 30s was conveyed to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries sustained as a result of this incident.

Gardaí say that investigations are ongoing.
