When the driver was pulled over, they discovered he was a learner permit holder driving unaccompanied with no L plates on display. He also had no motor insurance.
Furthermore, When suspicions were raised about the possibility that he was driving under the influence of alcohol, they decided to make an arrest and complete a test back at the station. He tested over 14 times the legal drink driving limit.
