Festival events fall victim to Mayo storm

There’s bitter postponement in Swinford today as the arrival of Storm Boelo has forced the cancellation of all workshops taking place as part of the Swinford Traditional Music Festival.

With weather warnings in operation, the organisers from the local Comhaltas branch have decided to cancel all of the morning and afternoon’s planned events. They have said it is their intention to reorganise the workshops for a later date.
