Dog thrown out of car on Mayo road

Castlebar's Castle Vets are appealing for information after a dog was seen being thrown out of a car on Pontoon Road.

In a social post, the vets said: "A dog was brought into us this morning, grey/white female lurcher type, she has had puppies recently by the look of her. 

"She was seen being thrown out of a car on the Pontoon Road outside of Castlebar. Very sweet girl, although extremely under weight - she is being treated by our vet at the moment."
