Council announces temporary closure of Mayo swimming pool
The North Mayo pool is to close for maintenance and upgrade works
A Mayo swimming close will be closed until next month while maintenance work is carried out.
Mayo County Council announced the temporary closure of Ballina Swimming Pool to enable the maintenance and upgrade works.
The facility will close from Monday and will remain shut for several weeks. It is expected to re-open on Monday, October 12.
Mayo County Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused during the three-week closure period.
The popular facility is located on Cathedral Road in the town and regular hosts children's swimming lessons and other activities.
